A week after the first major of the year at Augusta, the PGA Tour makes its next stop at the RBC heritage Open at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, S.C.
Four Canadians will be in the running at the tournament, including Taylor Pendrith and Sudarshan Yellamaraju, along with two Canadians who made the cut at the Masters in Corey Conners and Nick Taylor.
Conners, of Listowel, Ont., was not happy with his performance at the Masters despite making the cut, describing it as a frustrating week overall.
He struggled to a 3-over in his final round despite hitting an eagle on 14 - he hit two double bogeys and five bogeys in total in the round. Conners finished his Masters at 6-over.
Taylor, of Winnipeg, finished at 2-over for the tournament at the masters but also faltered on Sunday after a disastrous middle stretch in which he bogeyed three consecutive holes from 9-11 and six overall between holes 5 and 17.
The 24-year-old Yellamaraju of Mississauga, Ont., has had an impressive start to his first season on the PGA Tour and will look to keep the positive results coming at the RBC heritage Open.
Yellamaraju has made the cut in eight of his nine starts this year, and has finished top-25 five times. Yellamaraju’s best start of the year came at The Players Championship in March, when he finished tied for fifth at 9-under.
Pendrith, 34, will have a chance to kickstart his season after a string of poor results over the past two months. Pendrith started his 2026 season with a top-10 finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii, but has failed to make the cut in four of his past eight starts and his best finish in that span was tied for 34th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Pendrith will be the first Canadian to tee off, at 8:30a.m. ET / 5:30a.m. PT, followed by Taylor half an hour later, then Conners and Yellamaraju in the afternoon.
After earning his second consecutive green jacket as winner at the Masters on Sunday, Rory McIlroy will not be in the field at the RBC Heritage Open. Some big names that will be in action include Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa and defending RBC Heritage Open champion Justin Thomas.
