South Korea’s Hye-Jin Choi ranked first in Greens in Regulation at this year’s CPKC Women’s Open, held at Edmonton’s Royal Mayfair Golf Club, and took home the Audi Precision Award as a result.
Audi Precision Award is given to the most precise player, determined by the player who has the most greens in regulation for the tournament.
The 27-year-old made 59-of-72 greens in regulation during the four-round tournament for a mark of 81.9 per cent as she finished in a tie for 17th at 6-under in the overall standings.
During Sunday’s final round, Choi made 15-of-18 greens in regulation, good enough for fifth on the day.
Canada’s Anna Huang, 17, was close behind, making 58-of-72 greens in regulation (80.6 per cent) to finish second in the stat for the tournament.
Japan’s Miyu Yamashita (23-under), who won the CPKC Women’s Open with a dominating wire-to-wire performance, finished tied for 21st in Greens in Regulation, going 54-for-72 (75 per cent).
Choi finished tied for third at the Mizuho Americas Open in May, marking the best finish of her season.
