PGA Tour stars battle it out in final signature event of season at Travelers Championship on TSN, TSN+

The final signature event of the 2026 season tees off this week as the Travelers Championship gets underway from TPC River Highlands on Thursday morning.

A stacked field will head to the Cromwell, Conn. course in search of a $3.4 million first-place prize and 700 FedEx Cup points befitting an elevated event.

Now a two-time U.S. Open winner following his victory at Shinnecock Hills, Wyndham Clark is back in action this week as he looks to carry his excellent run of form into the stretch run of the PGA Tour season.

Clark has two victories over his past four starts, also recording a solo third finish at the Memorial and a T11 at the RBC Canadian Open.

He will be joined in the field by world No. 1 and 2024 Travelers champion Scottie Scheffler, Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Cameron Young, Justin Rose, Collin Morikawa, and Xander Schauffele.

Keegan Bradley is teeing it up this week in defence of his win last year after he edged out Fleetwood for a one-stroke victory. Bradley won this tournament in 2023 as well by setting the scoring record at 23-under, and will look to jumpstart his season with a good showing at a venue he’s had success at.

Jordan Spieth, a walk-off winner in 2017 after holing out from the bunker in a sudden-death playoff, will be making the trip to TPC River Highlands on a sponsor’s exemption alongside Tony Finau and Ben James.

Corey Conners, Taylor Pendrith, and Nick Taylor are also set to be in action this week to make up the Canadian contingent at the signature event. PGA Tour rookie Sudarshan Yellamaraju is currently listed as the first alternate and could find himself playing on Thursday if one of the 72-man field withdraws before their tee time.

Conners was the lone Canadian to make the cut at last week’s U.S. Open, and finished in a tie for 23rd following rounds of 69-72-71-73 (five-over).

“Just a few sloppy bogeys, wasn’t able to convert on some of the birdie chances I gave myself,” said the Listowel, Ont. native after closing his ledger at the third major championship of the season. “I didn’t putt particularly well, I just wasn’t able to get the ball in the hole to try and get some momentum going.

“I felt like I struck the ball really nice. A couple wayward tee shots [on Sunday] that made things a little more challenging but was able to battle through it.”

Taylor, of Abbotsford, B.C., was unable to overcome an opening-round 74 at the and missed the 36-hole cut by one shot, while Richmond Hill, Ont.’s Pendrith failed to qualify for the event altogether.
