Former Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Aaron Sanchez has drawn interest from multiple MLB teams this off-season, according to baseball reporter Francys Romero.
“We are considering our options,” Sanchez’s agent Chris Leible told Romero.

His agent, Chris Leible of Smooth Baseball, said, “We are considering our options.”
Sanchez had a strong winter with Toros del Este: 4-2, 1.55 ERA, 46.1 IP, 34 SO in the Dominican Winter League.
Sanchez was recently named Pitcher of the Year in the six-team Dominican Winter League. He has a 1.55 ERA across eight starts with 34 strikeouts and 35 hits allowed in 46.2 innings pitched for the Toros del Este.
Sanchez has not appeared in an MLB game since the 2022 season, splitting the year with the Washington Nationals and Minnesota Twins.
He spent time in the Blue Jays’ system in 2024 but had an ERA north of eight in 14 outings for the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons.
Sanchez is best known for his time with the Jays from 2014 to 2019. He appeared in 146 regular-season games with Toronto during that span and went 32-33 with a 3.96 ERA.
Sanchez was traded by the Jays to the Houston Astros in the midst of the 2019 season and played the 2021 campaign with the San Francisco Giants.
According to Bob Elliott of the Canadian Baseball Network, Sanchez will also pitch for Mexico at the World Baseball Classic in March. Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk will also play for Mexico, it was officially announced Tuesday.
