George Springer is out of the Toronto Blue Jays starting lineup for the second consecutive game as the team prepares to play Game 5 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The 36-year-old exited Game 3 in the seventh inning after experiencing pain swinging at the first pitch of his at bat.
He did not appear in the Jays’ Game 4 victory.
Bo Bichette will be the designated hitter as he was in the Game 4 lineup, hitting in the three spot behind first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr..
Guerrero Jr. continued his excellent postseason in Tuesday’s Game 4 as he hit his seventh playoff home run, setting a new franchise career record.
With lefty Blake Snell on the mound for the Dodgers, Davis Schneider moves into the leadoff position and gets the start in left field.
Catcher Alejandro Kirk has been elevated into the cleanup spot in the order, with third baseman Ernie Clement, right fielder Addison Barger, second baseman Isiah Kiner-Falefa and shortstop Andrés Giménez rounding out the order.
Rookie Trey Yesavage makes his second start of the World Series after throwing four innings and surrendering two runs in the Jays’ 11-4 victory in Game 1 of the Fall Classic.
The World Series is tied 2-2 heading into Wednesday’s Game 5, with Game 6 scheduled for Friday night in Toronto and Game 7, if necessary, to be played on Saturday.
