Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes is listed as doubtful for Friday’s game against the Boston Celtics with a right knee sprain, the team announced.

Barnes, 24, appeared to sustain the injury in the fourth quarter of the team’s 97-96 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday.

The West Palm Beach, Fla. native limped back to the locker room to undergo evaluation by team’s medical staff, before returning to action in the late stages of the contest to help Toronto earn the victory.

Barnes finished Wednesday’s game with 17 points, four rebounds, one steal, and a block.

Now in his fifth NBA season since being selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2021 draft, Barnes has averaged 19.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists while leading the Raptors to a 23-15 record on the year.

Toronto closes out a short two-game road trip against the Celtics, before returning home for a pair of games against the Philadelphia 76ers.
