The Phoenix Suns are signing center Duop Reath to a deal, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania on Wednesday.
The former Portland Trail Blazers big man provides depth for a Suns team that will be without center Mark Williams for several months because of a shoulder injury.
Reath, 30, spent all three of his seasons in the NBA with Portland before he was traded in February to the Hawks and then subsequently waived.
The Blazers signed Reath as an undrafted free agent in 2023 then converted him to a standard NBA deal midway through a breakout rookie campaign. He averaged 9.1 points and 3.7 rebounds that year but had seen his minutes decline the following two seasons.
Phoenix's frontcourt also features Khaman Maluach, whom the Suns selected with the No. 10 pick in last year's NBA draft.
