The No. 7 Miami Hurricanes will welcome a pair of gold medalists on Thursday night to open up their home schedule.
Ahead of the game against Florida A&M, Florida Panthers duo Brady Tkachuk and Matthew Tkachuk will serve as Hurricane Siren ringers.
Prior to every game at Hard Rock Stadium, a celebrity guest is selected to crank the siren to hype up the crowd. Among those to have served in the role before include program legends Michael Irvin and Jimmy Johnson. Matthew Tkachuk previously represented Miami as the guest picker on ESPN’s College GameDay.
The 2026-2027 will mark the first time that the Tkachuk brothers have played together as professionals. Brady Tkachuk, 26, was acquired by the Panthers in a blockbuster trade with the Ottawa Senators in June with two first-round picks, a second-round selection and another conditional first going the other way. Matthew Tkachuk, 28, heads into his fifth season with the team, having won back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2024 and 2025.
The Panthers open up their training camp on Sept. 17. They first see preseason action on Sept. 20 at home to the Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes. The team’s regular season begins on Sept. 29 with a visit to the Hurricanes.
