The NFL returns for another full slate of action on TSN, featuring the return of one of the league’s most exciting players, a pair of young quarterbacks facing off, and the league’s leading receiver going up against a skidding secondary.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Miami Dolphins
Lamar Jackson has missed the past three games due to a hamstring injury, but is poised to return this week as the Ravens try to get back into contention in the AFC North against the Miami Dolphins.
Jackson has not played since Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but was reported as a full participant in Monday’s practice, and head coach John Harbaugh said he expects the two-time Most Valuable Player to return for Thursday Night Football.
The Ravens are coming off a shocking 30-16 upset over the Chicago Bears in Week 8. With Tyler Huntley at the helm, the Ravens’ offence produced more than 10 points for the first time since Jackson’s injury and moved to 2-5, somehow finding themselves in contention in a wild AFC North behind the Cincinnati Bengals (3-5) and Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3), who are both coming off losses last week.
The Dolphins produced an upset of their own on Sunday, pounding the Atlanta Falcons 34-10 on the road. The win was a welcome one for Miami, who were just blown out 31-6 at home by the Browns in Week 8.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa tossed four touchdown passes for the first time this season as the Dolphins moved to 2-6.
Denver Broncos vs. Houston Texans on 1/3/4
A pair of young quarterbacks face off in Sunday’s early window as Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos battle C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans.
Nix and the Broncos are coming off one of their best performances of the season in a 44-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys. The second-year QB threw four touchdowns while rookie running back RJ Harvey rushed for two touchdowns and caught another.
Denver (6-2) sits atop the AFC West and will need to keep up their winning ways to hold off the Los Angeles Chargers (5-3) and Kansas City Chiefs (5-3).
Stroud and the Texans will face the Broncos’ vaunted defence without star cornerback Patrick Surtain II, who is week-to-week after sustaining a left pectoral strain in Week 8. Houston is coming off an important win of their own after beating the San Francisco 49ers in Week 8 to move to 3-4. Stroud had one of his best games of the season, throwing for 318 yards and two touchdowns.
Texans star receiver Nico Collins could also return to action after missing Week 8 due to a concussion.
Carolina Panthers vs. Green Bay Packers on TSN+
The Green Bay Packers will try to extend their three-game winning streak as they host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon.

Quarterback Jordan Love is coming off another strong performance for the AFC North-leading Packers after throwing for 360 yards and three touchdowns in last week’s win over the Steelers. The Packers got another piece of their deep receiving corps back on Sunday as Christian Watson returned from injured reserve and caught four passes for 85 yards in the win.
Star running back Josh Jacobs had a more muted performance as he continues to deal with a few nagging injuries, gaining 33 yards as he tied a season low with just 13 carries. However, he did find the endzone for the ninth time this season.
The Panthers could be getting quarterback Bryce Young back from injury after the former No. 1 overall pick missed Week 8’s blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills with an ankle injury. Panthers head coach Dave Canales has listed his starter as day-to-day and is optimistic he will join practice this week.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Las Vegas Raiders
The afternoon slate on TSN features a showdown between two-way star Travis Hunter and the Jacksonville Jaguars battling the Las Vegas Raiders.
Watch the Jaguars and Raiders LIVE Sunday at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT on TSN1/3, the TSN App, and TSN.ca.
Hunter had the best game of his young career before the bye, catching eight passes for 101 yards and the first touchdown of his career.
“[The bye] definitely gave us an opportunity as a staff to look at how we can continue to use him,” head coach Liam Coen said of Hunter. “You look at the end of the last game against the Rams with he and Trevor [Lawrence] building on a connection and making some plays towards the end of the game.”
The Heisman Trophy winner will have the chance to build on his Week 7 performance against the Raiders.
Las Vegas could be getting reinforcements on the offensive side of the ball, as tight end Brock Bowers and wide receiver Jakobi Meyers could return from injuries after the team’s Week 8 bye
Seattle Seahawks vs. Washington Commanders
NFL Sunday will conclude with the Seattle Seahawks taking on the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football.
Watch the Seahawks and Commanders LIVE on Sunday with coverage beginning at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT across the TSN Network, the TSN App, and TSN.ca.
The Seattle offence has been firing on all cylinders this season thanks to the connection between new quarterback Sam Darnold and the NFL’s receiving yards leader, Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
The third-year Ohio State product has 819 yards through seven games and sits 99 yards ahead of Bengals’ superstar Ja’Marr Chase for the league lead despite 20 fewer receptions.
Seattle is looking to extend their two-game winning streak and maintain their lead atop the NFC West.
On the other side, the Commanders have lost three consecutive games and have fallen to 3-5 on the season.
The status of quarterback Jayden Daniels remains unclear as he continues to work his way back from a hamstring injury.
Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys
Monday Night Football will feature a pair of teams desperately searching for a win as the Dallas Cowboys host the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cowboys are coming off a 20-point loss to the Broncos and have now lost two of their past three games. The defence has allowed 96 points over the past three games and remains one of the most generous units in the NFL, allowing the most passing yards (2,185) and touchdowns (20) through eight weeks.
The star receiver tandem of CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens continued to produce last week, combining for 152 yards on 14 receptions.
Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray practiced on Tuesday, coming out of the team’s bye week and has a chance to return after missing the past two games with a foot injury.
The Cardinals have lost five games in a row after a 2-0 start to the season and are the only team in the NFC under .500.
