This week we feature two quarterbacks who are off to hot starts this season and are showing no signs of slowing down, even if one of them will be plying his trade in Brazil.
Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Chargers – 1pm
If you are looking for touchdowns on Sunday, but can’t decide if you would rather see passing or rushing scores, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has you covered on the ground and through the air.
Last week, Allen celebrated the opening of the Bills new Highmark Stadium with a dynamic five touchdown performance in a 41-31 victory over the Detroit Lions that was close in score only.
The 30-year-old scored the first points in the history of the new building with a one-yard rushing major on the opening drive and ran another touchdown in from two-yards out in the third quarter to go along with 69 yards on 14 attempts.
He also found Josh Palmer in the first quarter and Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid before halftime for three passing touchdowns powered by 248 yards on 20 completions.
In terms of touchdowns, Allen managed to top his Week 1 performance which consisted of two passing scores and two rushing scores, with 334 yards through the air and 23 yards on the ground.
Allen is the first player in NFL history to have 5+ passing touchdowns and 3+ rushing touchdowns through two games of a season.
For his efforts, Allen rightfully was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for the 19th time in his career and now he leads the Bills into a matchup against the Chargers as they welcome Los Angeles to the new stadium.

Dak Prescott – Dallas Cowboys vs. Baltimore Ravens – 4:25pm
After suffering a loss in their opening game, the Dallas Cowboys got back on track with a 37-20 victory over the Washington Commanders in Week 2, thanks to four touchdown passes from QB Dak Prescott.
Prescott found CeeDee Lamb and Jake Ferguson twice each, as the Cowboys were able to bounce back from their upset loss to the New York Giants to begin the season.
With his efforts, the 33-year-old surpassed Tony Romo for the most passing touchdowns in Cowboy’s franchise history with 249.
Prescott will now attempt to better that mark on international soil, as they Cowboys head to the legendary Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to take on the Baltimore Ravens.
This will be the first NFL game in Rio de Janeiro and it will take place in a stadium with a rich history.
The Maracanã Stadium has hosted two FIFA World Cup finals: Uruguay’s triumph in 1950 and Germany’s victory in 2014.
The Cowboys’ starting pivot enters Sunday’s action as one of five quarterbacks that has thrown six passing touchdowns this season, joining Las Vegas Raiders QB Kirk Cousins, Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff, Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young and Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love at the top of the leaderboard.
Prescott will be looking to fire a few more touchdowns and etch his name alongside other greats that have stood tall in Brazil’s iconic venue.
