Panthers RB Hubbard out week-to-week with hamstring injury

Canadian running back Chuba Hubbard is sidelined week-to-week with a hamstring injury, according to Carolina Panthers head coach Dave Canales.

The 27-year-old native of Edmonton is set to enter his sixth season with the Panthers after recording 511 yards on 134 carries and one touchdown over 15 games in 2025. He added 223 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Hubbard has stayed healthy in his career, playing at least 15 games each season.

Selected in the fourth-round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Hubbard has tallied 3,686 yards and 23 touchdowns over 79 games, adding 972 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

His best season came in 2024 when he produced 1,195 yards on the ground with 10 touchdowns.
