The Arizona Cardinals and center Hjalte Froholdt have agreed to terms on a two-year, $20 million contract extension, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on Tuesday.
Froholdt was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after the season. The extension will keep him under contract with the Cardinals through the 2028 season.
Froholdt, 30, has started all 17 games for the Cardinals in each of the past three seasons and is slated to start at center in 2026. In his first two seasons in Arizona (2023-'24), he anchored an offensive line that blocked for running back James Conner's first two 1,000-yard seasons.
A fourth-round pick of New England in the 2019 draft, he has appeared in 82 games with 57 starts in six NFL seasons for the Patriots, Cleveland Browns and Cardinals.
