The Toronto Maple Leafs will play the final three games of the season without goaltender Anthony Stolarz, defenceman Brandon Carlo and forward Dakota Joshua as head coach Craig Berube told reporters Saturday all three would missed the rest of 2025-26.

Berube said Stolarz is dealing with an injury “serious enough” after exiting Wednesday’s contest against the Washington Capitals with a lower-body ailment. Berube also said the injury could compromise Stolarz’s off-season training.

Stolarz kicked out his left leg to make a stop in the opening period Wednesday and immediately began writhing in pain in the crease. The 32-year-old was attended to by the team’s medical staff and was eventually helped off the ice and into the dressing room.

He will finish his season with an .893 save percentage and a 3.28 goals-against average in 26 games.

Carlo (lower-body) and Joshua (upper) also each left Wednesday’s game against the Capitals and did not play Thursday against the New York Islanders.

Carlo will finish his season with seven assists in 55 games and Joshua with 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points in 55 games.

The Leafs will take on the Florida Panthers on Saturday, the Dallas Stars on Monday and the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday to close things out.
