The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired forward Mason Marchment from the Seattle Kraken in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick.

Marchment, 30, had four goals and 13 points in 29 games this season with the Kraken. His stint with Seattle was short, as Marchment was acquired by the club from the Dallas Stars on June 19 in exchange for two draft picks.

An undrafted free agent, Marchment inked a two-year, entry-level contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs in March of 2018. He made his NHL debut with Toronto during the 2019-20 season.

He won the 2018 Calder Cup with the Toronto Marlies.

Marchment is in the final season of a four-year, $18 million contract he signed with the Stars in July of 2022.

The Uxbridge, Ont., native has skated in 331 career NHL games, scoring 80 goals and 202 points split between the Maple Leafs, Florida Panthers, Stars and Kraken.
