Florida Panthers forward A.J. Greer will not be in the lineup against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday while goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky will serve as backup to Daniil Tarasov in net as the team plays their final game before the NHL Trade Deadline.

Bobrovsky sits at No. 19 on TSN’s most recent Trade Bait Board while Greer is No. 21 as the Panthers continue to fall out of the playoff race.

Bobrovsky, 37, has a 22-19-1 record this season with an .873 save percentage and 3.13 goals against average.

The 6-foot-2 netminder is on the final season of a seven-year, $70 million contract that carries a cap hit of $10 million. He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

Greer, 29, has 11 goals and 22 points in 61 games with the Panthers this season.

The 6-foot-3 winger is in the second season of a two-year, $1.7 million contract that carries a cap hit of $850,000. He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

Florida are on the verge of missing the playoffs for the first time since since the 2018-19 seasons and sit last in the Atlantic Division with a 30-28-3 record. They are 10 points behind the Boston Bruins for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
