Jets sign college free agent Wahlin to one-year, two-way contract

The Winnipeg Jets have signed forward Lucas Wahlin to a one-year, two-way contract on Wednesday.

The deal carries an average annual value of $850,000 in the NHL beginning in the 2026-27 season. He will report to the AHL’s Manitoba Moose on an amateur try-out for the remainder of the season.

Wahlin, 24, scored 21 goals with 39 points in 36 games this season in NCAA with the University of St. Thomas.

An undrafted free agent, Wahlin played four seasons at St. Thomas, scoring 56 goals with 131 points in 137 games.
