Kraken sign F McMann to six-year contract extension

The Seattle Kraken have signed forward Bobby McMann to six-year contract extension on Sunday.

Per TSN Hockey Insider Chris Johnston, McMann’s deal carries an average annual value of $5.75 million.

McMann, 30, finished last season with the Seattle Kraken after he was traded from the Toronto Maple Leafs for two draft picks at the trade deadline.

He had a career season, recording 29 goals and 46 points in 78 games split between the Maple Leafs and Kraken.

McMann previously set career highs with 20 goals and 34 points in 74 games in 2024-25 with the Maple Leafs.

The 6-foot-2 winger is coming off a two-year, $2.7 million contract that carried a cap hit of $1.35 million and was set to be unrestricted free agent.

Originally signed as an undrafted free agent in 2022, McMann has 64 goals and 105 points in 218 career games.

Earlier in the day, the Kraken acquired forward Mackie Samoskevich from the Florida Panthers in exchange for two draft picks
