The Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired the rights to forward Jack Pridham from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a 2027 third-round pick.

Pridham is committed to play in the NCAA for the 2026-27 season with the school to be announced soon.

The 20-year-old is fresh off helping the OHL’s Kitchener Rangers capture the Memorial Cup Sunday night as he notched one goal and two assists in the 6-2 win over the Everett Silvertips.

Pridham, who hails from Stouffville, Ont., led all players in the Memorial Cup in goals (five) and points (nine).

During the regular season, he was second among all OHL skaters in goals (46) and was fifth in points (90), capturing the Leo Lalonde Trophy as the OHL’s Overage Player of the Year.

In the OHL playoffs, he had two goals and 17 points in 18 games as Kitchener dropped just two games en route to the J. Ross Robertson Cup.

Pridham was originally drafted in the third round (92nd overall) by Chicago in 2024.
