Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander will return to the lineup for Saturday’s game against the visiting Vancouver Canucks.

The 29-year-old, who has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury, skated on the second line with centre John Tavares and winger Matias Maccelli.

Nylander has 14 goals and 27 assists over 33 games with the Leafs this season.

Defenceman Jake McCabe is a game-time decision after missing the last two games with a lower-body injury.

The 32-year-old American has three goals and 13 assists over 41 games in 2025-26.,

Goalie Anthony Stolarz was on the ice and taking shots from staff members ahead of the morning skate as he continues to work his way towards a return after being sidelined since Nov. 11 with an upper-body injury.

Following practice head coach Craig Berube said Stolarz is “coming along well” and is expected to join the team on their upcoming four-game road trip which begins Monday against the first-place Colorado Avalanche.

Joseph Woll is the projected starter against the Canucks.

After struggling for a good portion of the season, the Maple Leafs have turned things around as of late with six wins in their last eight games.

They sit fifth in the Atlantic Division with a 21-15-7 record.
