The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Jack Roslovic to a two-year, $4 million contract.
The team is also in contract talks with unrestricted free agent forward Colton Sissons, but nothing has been finalized, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger.
The updates come after the Maple Leafs traded restricted free agent Nick Robertson to the Pittsburgh Penguins for a fourth-round pick.
Roslovic, 29, recorded 21 goals and 36 points in 69 games with the Edmonton Oilers last season. He added an assist in six playoff games as the Oilers bowed out in the first round.
The 6-foot-1 centre is coming off a one-year, $1.5 million contract.
Drafted 25th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in 2015, Roslovic has 123 goals and 296 points in 595 career games split between the Jets, Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, Carolina Hurricanes, and Oilers.
Sissons, 32, registered six goals and 11 points in 66 games with the Vegas Golden Knights last season. He added two goals and eight points in 22 playoff games before his team was eliminated in the Stanley Cup Final.
The 6-foot-1 centre is coming off a seven-year, $20 million contract that carried a cap hit of $2.86 million.
Sissons was acquired from the Nashville Predators, along with defenceman Jeremy Lauzon, in June of 2025 in exchange for blueliner Nicolas Hague and a draft pick.
Drafted 50th overall by the Predators in 2012, Sissons has 101 goals and 232 points in 756 career games split between the Predators and Golden Knights.
Robertson sent to Penguins
Robertson leaves Toronto after requesting a trade earlier in his tenure with the club.
The 24-year-old had 16 goals and 32 points in 78 games with the Maple Leafs last season.
The 5-foot-9 winger is coming off a one-year, $1.825 million contract.
Drafted 53rd overall by the Maple Leafs in 2019, Robertson has 48 goals and 88 points in 234 career games.
The Pasadena, Cali., native represented the United States at the 2020 World Juniors in a sixth-place finish.
