The Edmonton Oilers have acquired goaltender Connor Ingram from the Utah Mammoth.
The Mammoth will retain $800,000 of Ingram’s $1.95 million cap hit and receive future considerations in the deal.
The 28-year-old netminder has been assigned to the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors by Edmonton.

Ingram cleared waivers last month after general manager Bill Armstrong announced he would not spend training camp with the team.
“We had a mutual agreement where we said, ‘Hey, listen, we have our goaltenders,’” Armstrong said on Sept. 17. “It’s probably best for him not to come to camp and put himself in a (tough) situation.”
The native of Saskatoon, SK. spent the past three seasons with the Arizona-Utah franchise. He went 9-8-4 and posted a 3.27 goals-against average and a .882 save percentage over 22 games last season before entering the NHL/ NHLPA Players Assistance Program.
“We’re excited for him and his path to recovery, that’s the biggest thing,” Armstrong added at the time. “He will either get a chance to play for another NHL team or he will go to the American Hockey League and resume his play. But at the end of the day he will be playing and that’s what we’re so excited for.”

Ingram has a career record of 39-44-15 with a .902 save percentage and a 3.14 GAA.
