The Edmonton Oilers are sending goaltender Tristan Jarry back to Edmonton to evaluate his apparent lower-body injury, according to TSN’s Ryan Rishaug.

Jarry exited Thursday’s 3-1 win over the Boston Bruins at the end of the second period after sustaining the injury while trying to push across his crease.
The 6-foot-4 netminder stopped 12 of 13 shots before exiting. Calvin Pickard entered the game in relief and stopped all 12 shots he faced.
Jarry was acquired by the Oilers, along with forward Sam Poulin, on Dec. 12 from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for goaltender Stuart Skinner, defenceman Brett Kulak, and a draft pick.
He appeared in three games for the Oilers, going 3-0-0 with an .887 save percentage and 3.08 goals-against average before going down with the injury.
In 14 games with the Penguins this season, Jarry recorded a .909 save percentage and a 2.66 goals-against average.
The Oilers are wrapping up a five-game road trip on Saturday against the Minnesota Wild. Pickard is expected to get the start.
Pickard, 33, has a 3-4-2 record this season with an .858 save percentage and 3.91 GAA.
Edmonton sits in third place in the Pacific Division with a 17-12-6 record and are two points back of the Vegas Golden Knights and Anaheim Ducks for the division lead.
