The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward Oliver Okuliar to a one year, two-way contract that runs through the 2026-2027 season, worth $850,000 at the NHL level.

Okuliar’s rights were acquired by the Penguins in a trade with the Florida Panthers on Saturday.

Okuliar, 26, had 15 goals and 29 points in 46 games last season for Skelleftea AIK of the Swedish Hockey League. He was signed by the Panthers in April of 2024.

In exchange for the rights to the Slovak, the Panthers acquired defenceman Emil Pieniniemi from the Penguins Saturday morning.
