It’s the largest deal in WNBA history.
A 29-year-old native of Columbia, SC, Wilson heads into her ninth season. Originally taken with the first overall pick of the 2018 WNBA Draft out of South Carolina, with whom she won a National Championship in 2017, Wilson has played the entirety of her career with the Aces with whom she’s won three WNBA titles including last spring’s.
A seven-time All-Star, Wilson appeared in 40 games last season, averaging 23.4 points on .505 shooting, 10.2 boards and 3.1 assists over 31.2 minutes a night. The MVP she claimed was her second straight, third in four seasons and fourth overall. Wilson was also named WNBA Finals MVP for the second time after the four-game sweep of the Phoenix Mercury.
Internationally, Wilson has represented the United States on numerous occasions, winning Olympic gold medals at Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 and FIBA World Cup gold medals in 2018 and 2022.
The Aces begin their title defence on May 9 in a WNBA Finals rematch against the Mercury at T-Mobile Arena.
