Senators, Hurricanes heading to OT in Game 2

Published:

The Ottawa Senators and Carolina Hurricanes are headed to overtime tied 2-2 after a scoreless third period of Game 2 of their first-round series.

The Hurricanes lead the best-of-seven series 1-0.

Drake Batherson and Dylan Cozens have the markers for the Senators, while Sebastian Aho and Logan Stankoven are on the board for the Hurricanes.

The Senators were finally able to beat Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen in the second period of Game 2, after he made all 22 saves to help lead his team to victory in Game 1.

Linus Ullmark has been brilliant in net for the Senators as he has made a handful of highlight reel saves to help keep the game tied heading into overtime.
