Ottawa Senators goaltender Linus Ullmark made a series of big saves in Game 2 against the Carolina Hurricanes, but through the first four periods, the biggest was turning away a Jordan Martinook penalty shot late in the first overtime period to keep the game tied 2-2.

The Hurricanes thought they had won the game when Mark Jankowski scored on a delayed penalty with Frederik Andersen on the bench for the extra attacker.

The goal was waived off after an offside review, with Martinook awarded a penalty shot for the original infraction.

After a short delay, Ullmark was able to stand tall in the net and turn away Martinook’s shot attempt to keep the game alive.

The teams continued to press, but neither could find the winner and the game headed into double overtime.
