Pending unrestricted free agent Vladimir Tarasenko has changed agents as he prepares to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, according to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun.
Tarasenko, who played for the Minnesota Wild last season, is now represented by Dan Milstein, who has permission from the Wild to speak to other NHL teams ahead of the start of free agency.
The 34-year-old registered 23 goals and 47 points in 75 games with the Wild. He added two goals and five points in 11 playoff games before his team was eliminated in the second round.
Tarasenko is coming off a two-year, $9.5 million contract that carried a cap hit of $4.75 million. He was acquired from the Detroit Red Wings in June of 2025 in exchange for future considerations.
Drafted 16th overall by the St. Louis Blues in 2010, Tarasenko has 327 goals and 709 points in 906 career games split between the Blues, New York Rangers, Ottawa Senators, Red Wings, and Wild.
The 6-foot-1 winger is a two-time Stanley Cup champion after helping the Blues to their first title in franchise history in 2019 and then doing the same for the Panthers in 2024.
The Yaroslavl, Russia native represented his country at The Olympic Games in 2014 in a fifth-place finish. He has also represented Russia three times at the World Hockey Championship, taking home a silver medal in 2015.
