The Minnesota Wild acquired forward Boris Katchouk from the Tampa Bay Lightning in a trade on Sunday in exchange for forward Michael Milne.

Katchouk, 27, will report to the AHL’s Iowa Wild. The 27-year-old skated in three games for the Lightning this season, where he averaged 12:11 of ice time and did not register a point.

In 179 career NHL games split between the Lightning, Chicago Blackhawks and Ottawa Senators, the Waterloo, Ont. native has 15 goals and 36 points.

Milne, 23, made his NHL debut with the Wild last season. He skated just over six minutes of ice time in his lone game at the NHL level, and has 32 goals and 65 points in 172 games with the Iowa Wild since being selected in the third round (89th overall) in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
