The Minnesota Wild are making a change in net as Filip Gustavsson will start in Game 2 of their second-round series against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.

Gustavsson will be making his 2026 Stanley Cup playoff debut after going 28-15-6 in the regular season with a 2.69 goals-against average and a .904 save percentage.

The 6-foot-2 netminder takes the reins from Jesper Wallstedt, who allowed eight goals on 42 shots during the team’s 9-6 loss in Game 1 on Sunday.

Wallstedt started all six games against the Dallas Stars in the first round, going 4-2 with a .924 save percentage and 2.30 GAA.

The 6-foot-3 netminder had an outstanding rookie season in Minnesota, going 18-9-6 with a 2.61 GAA and .916 save percentage.

Colorado holds a 1-0 heading into Tuesday’s game and Game 3 will shift the series to Minnesota on Saturday.
