PWHL Hamilton has signed forward Brianne Jenner to a three-year contract as the first signing in franchise history.

She is the first of five players to be added in Phase 2 of the Expansion Roster Draft Process as Hamilton, Las Vegas, Detroit and San Jose are all joining the PWHL for the 2026-27 season.

Jenner spent the past three seasons with the Ottawa Charge as captain.

The 35-year-old forward scored 12 goals with 26 points in 30 regular-season games in 2025-26, and was named a Forward of the Year finalist.

In the playoffs, she had one assist in eight games as the Charge fell in the PWHL Finals for the second year in a row.

The Stoney Creek, Ont., native skated in her fourth Olympic Games this year at Milano Cortina 2026, helping Canada earn silver. She has won two Olympic golds and two silvers for Canada.

She has also competed in 11 Women’s World Championships, winning four gold, six silver and one bronze medal.
