Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence from Al-Nassr looks to be at its end.
Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol reports the Portugal forward will return to Saudi Pro League action on Saturday, away to Al-Fateh.
Ronaldo, 41, has missed the team’s past two games, making himself unavailable for selection due to his reported displeasure with the direction of the club. Solhekol notes that Ronaldo believes title rivals Al-Hilal are receiving preferential treatment in the transfer market, recently adding his former teammate Karim Benzema.
Al-Nassr won both games Ronaldo missed.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is in his fourth season at the club. He’s appeared in 18 games this season, scoring 17 goals and adding an assist.
The former Manchester United, Juventus, Real Madrid and Sporting player reportedly has a £43 million release clause in the offseason.
Capped 226 times by Portugal, Ronaldo is expected to captain the team at this summer’s 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
