Overall, 10.1 million unique Canadian viewers tuned in for some part of the match, an increase of +98% compared to Canada’s third match in 2022. The match saw audiences peak with 6 million viewers at 4:55 p.m. ET as Canada looked for the equalizer late in the game. Additionally, streaming audiences saw a substantial increase, more than tripling that of Canada’s third match in 2022.
The Canada-Switzerland match now ranks as the third-most-watched FIFA WORLD CUP™ Group Stage match on record.
