Olivia Miles is the 2026 WNBA Rookie of the Year.
The league made the announcement on Monday morning with the Minnesota Lynx star a unanimous choice.
Miles, 23, appeared in 40 games for the Lynx this season. She averaged 19.8 points on .492 shooting with 6.0 assists and 4.7 boards over 31.0 minutes a night. Miles was also recognized as an All-Star.
Taken with the second overall selection of the 2026 WNBA Draft out of TCU, Miles becomes the sixth Lynx player to claim the honour and third since 2019. She follows in the footsteps of Crystal Dangerfield (2020), Napheesa Collier (2019), Maya Moore (2011), Seimone Augustus (2006) and Betty Lennox (2000). Miles is the third straight guard to win the honour.
The top-seeded Lynx opened up their playoff campaign on Sunday with a 91-75 loss to the New York Liberty. Game 2 is set for Tuesday night.
