The Toronto Tempo have found the frontcourt help they were looking for ahead of Sunday’s trade deadline.
The team announced the acquisition of Aneesah Morrow from the Connecticut Sun on Friday.
Going the other way are the rights to Maria Kliundikova and a second-round pick in 2028.
Morrow, 23, is in her second WNBA season out of LSU after being taken with the seventh overall selection of the 2025 WNBA Draft.
In 20 games this season, Morrow is averaging 11.6 points on .421 shooting, 8.9 boards and 1.7 assists over 23.2 minutes a night.
A native of Chicago, Morrow twice led the NCAA in rebounding.
Kliundikova, 28, was an expansion draft selection from the Minnesota Lynx. She did not report to the Tempo and was not expected to play at all in the WNBA this season.
The Tempo also announced guard Tima Pouye has been waived.
