The Toronto Tempo announced on Monday that they have signed guard Kiana Williams to a seven-day extreme hardship contract.
Williams has appeared in 59 career WNBA games, split between the Seattle Storm, Connecticut Sun, Phoenix Mercury and Los Angeles Sparks.
She most recently spent two months with the Sparks after signing a deal with the team on June 19 before being waived on Aug. 15. In 13 games, she averaged 3.2 points and 1.6 assists in 11.2 minutes.
The 27-year-old also suited up in eight games with the Mercury at the beginning of the season, where she averaged 4.8 points.
The Tempo are dealing with a rash of injuries as their inaugural season is winding down. Brittney Sykes (foot) and Aneesah Morrow (knee) are out for the remainder of 2026 while Marina Mabrey (adductor), Julie Allemand (head), Maria Conde (calf) and Nyara Sabally (calf) are all currently injured.
Toronto is 3-17 in their last 20 games and have been eliminated from the playoffs.
The Tempo are back in action on Wednesday against Seattle.
