With less than two weeks to go in the NHL season it appears we have a three-horse race to win the Hart Thophy.
Colorado Avalance forward Nathan Mackinnon has been the betting favourite for most of the season and reamins -162 carrying an implied probailty of 61.83 per cent.
Mackinnon’s 51 goals lead the league and he sits third in points with 123 and he has led the Avs to a league-best 51-16-10 record.
Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov (+320) and Edmonton Oilers’ captain Connor McDavid (+350) are the only players priced shorter than 50-1 to win the 2026 Hart Trophy.
Kucherov’s 127 points this season leads all players expect for McDavid’s 133, a total that is already the second-highest of a single season in his career.
Macklin Celebrini is the only other player listed in the market, coming in at +5000.
Has Mackinnon done enough to hold off the chase pack, or will one of the guys make up enough ground in the final games of the season?
