Alek Thomas has found a new home.
Days after being designated for assignment by the Arizona Diamondbacks, the outfielder has been acquired by the Los Angeles Dodgers, MLB Trade Rumors’ Steve Adams reports.

Thomas, 26, was in his fifth season with the D-Backs. Through 28 games, he was batting .181 with 17 hits, two home runs, 10 runs batted in and an OPS of .563 in 94 at-bats.
A native of Chicago, Thomas was originally taken with a second-round selection in the 2018 MLB Amateur Draft.
For his career, Thomas is a .230 hitter with 317 hits, 31 HR, 131 RBI and a .634 OPS in 448 games.
