The Toronto Blue Jays have signed Juan Yepez to a minor-league deal, Just Baseball’s Aram Leighton reports.
Yepez, 27, has 166 games of major league experience across three seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals and Washington Nationals.

A native of Caracas, Yepez did not appear in the big leagues in 2025. He appeared in 62 games for the Nats’ Triple-A affiliate Rochester Red Wings where he struggled offensively. Yepez batted .222 with 47 hits, four home runs, 24 runs batted in and an OPS of .605 in 212 at-bats.
For his big league career, Yepez is a .258 hitter with 139 hits, 20 home runs, 58 runs batted in and an OPS of .730 in 539 at-bats.
The Blue Jays open their Grapefruit League schedule on Feb. 21 in Dunedin against the Philadelphia Phillies.
