The Toronto Raptors are in position to advance to the second round of the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2020.

The Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers are tied 49-49 at halftime in Game 7 of their opening round series from Rocket Arena in Ohio.

Jamal Shead and Scottie Barnes both had an excellent half for the Raptors, each scoring a game-high 14 points.

The Cavs finished the second quarter on an 11-2 run to pull even.

Raptors forward Brandon Ingram is sidelined for a second straight game due to a heel injury.

The winner of this series will play the Detroit Pistons in the second round after they defeated the Orlando Magic in Game 7 116-94 earlier on Sunday.
