The season is over for a pair of Sacramento Kings.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports Domantas Sabonis underwent season-ending surgery on his injured knee on Wednesday, while Zach LaVine is undergoing hand surgery that will end his campaign.

Charania notes the 29-year-old Portland native rehabbed and played through the torn meniscus in his left knee earlier in the season, but the decision was made to have the procedure at present.
A three-time All-Star, Sabonis was in his 10th NBA season out of Gonzaga and fifth with the Kings. He appeared in just 19 games this season, averaging 15.8 points on .559 shooting, 11.4 boards and 4.1 assists over 29.7 minutes a night.
Sabonis, the son of Basketball Hall of Famer Arvydas Sabonis, has appeared in 665 career games with the Kings, Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder.
LaVine, 30, was in his 12th season out of UCLA. He appeared in 39 games, averaging 19.2 PPG on .479 shooting, 4.0 RPG and 3.9 APG over 31.4 minutes a night.
A native of Renton, WA, LaVine was in his second season in the California capital, having previously spent time with the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves.
LaVine was an All-Star in 2021 and 2022.
