Winnipeg Jets
Forward Cole Koepke exited Monday’s game against the New York Islanders with a lower-body injury.
Koepke, 27, only skated 2:50 and recorded an assist before exiting the game after the first period with the Jets leading 2-0.
The 6-foot-1 winger joined the Jets in the off-season on a one-year, $1 million deal.
Koepke had 10 goals and 17 points in 73 games with the Boston Bruins last season.
Toronto Maple Leafs
Anthony Stolarz is set to make a third consecutive start for the Maple Leafs on Monday against the Detroit Red Wings, according to TSN’s Mark Masters.
Through two contests this season, the 31-year-old has a .906 save percentage and 3.05 goals against average.
Only one change will be coming to the Maple Leafs’ lineup after Saturday’s loss to the Red Wings, as Easton Cowan will make his NHL and Leafs debut in place of the injured Steven Lorentz.
The injury doesn’t appear long term according to TSN’s Mark Masters, as the 29-year-old skated on Monday.
Columbus Blue Jackets
Defenceman Erik Gudbranson is out for Monday’s game against the New Jersey Devils. The 33-year-old was not available to practice after leaving Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Wild with an upper-body injury.
Jake Christiansen has moved into the lineup and onto the third pair, skating alongside Denton Mateychuk, who has moved over to the right side.
Jet Greaves will also make his second start of the season on Monday.
The Blue Jackets activated forward Jordan Dumais off the Injured/Non-Roster list and assigned him to the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters.
Dumais, 20, sustained a hip injury during the team’s rookie camp prior to the season and was placed on the list on Oct. 7.
The 5-foot-9 winger was drafted 96th overall by the Blue Jackets in 2022 and had four goals and 11 points in 21 games with the Monsters last season.
Ottawa Senators
Defencemen Tyler Kleven and Jordan Spence will make up the third pair during the team’s home opener against the Nashville Predators, replacing the pair of Donovan Sebrango and Nikolas Matinpalo.
The 23-year-old Kleven makes his season debut after suffering an ankle injury in the team’s first exhibition game on Sep. 21.
Spence will also make his debut with the Senators after being a healthy scratch during the team’s first two games. The 24-year-old was acquired from the Los Angeles Kings during the offseason for a third and sixth round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft
Olle Lycksell will also be in the lineup, taking the place of Kurtis MacDermid on the fourth line.

Carolina Hurricanes
Defenceman Jaccob Slavin was not on the ice for the Hurricanes during Monday’s practice ahead of the team’s flight to the west coast.
Head coach Rod Brind’Amour told reporters after practice that Slavin is being re-evaluated and it’s to be determined if he begins the trip with the team when they begin a six-game western road trip, beginning in San Jose.
Slavin left Saturday’s 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Flyers early in the third period with an undisclosed injury."
Additionally, Brind’Amour said that goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov will not travel with the team to start the road trip while netminder Brandon Bussi is expected to get at least one start in relief of Frederik Andersen.
Kochetkov has been out since the beginning of the season with an undisclosed injury.

Philadelphia Flyers
Defenceman Egor Zamula was out of the lineup during Monday’s skate ahead for Philadelphia ahead of their matchup against the Florida Panthers, as he was paired with Cam York who is working his way back from a lower body injury, according to NHL.com’s Bill Meltzer.
In Zamula’s place is Emil Andrae, who’s paired alongside Noah Juulsen on the team’s third pair.

Minnesota Wild
Goaltender Jesper Wallstedt will make his season debut for the Wild on Monday against the Los Angeles Kings, according to the Athletic’s Joe Smith.
The 22-year-old comes in for Filip Gustavsson who started Minnesota’s first two contests of the year. In five career games at the NHL level over the past two seasons, Wallstedt has posted a .877 save percentage and 3.44 goals against average.
Former first round pick Danila Yurov will also make his NHL and Wild debut, coming into the lineup in place of Hunter Haight.
Forwards Marcus Foligno and Marcus Johansson have also switched spots in the lineup, with the latter bumped up to the second line, and the former down to the third.
Utah Mammoth
The Utah Mammoth have announced that Sean Durzi is expected to miss four weeks with an upper-body injury.
The 26-year-old left Saturday’s contest against the Nashville Predators after taking a hard hit.
Durzi missed 52 games last season due to a shoulder injury he suffered just four games into last year’s campaign.
Across his five-year NHL career that began with the Los Angeles Kings, Durzi has posted 25 goals and 93 assists for 118 points.
Forward Barrett Hayton will be a game-time decision when the Mammoth take on the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday, said head coach Andre Tourigny.
Hayton, 25, has been dealing with an undisclosed injury since training camp and missed the team’s opening two games of the season.
The 6-foot-1 centre recorded 20 goals and 46 points in 82 games last season.
If Hayton is unable to play, Tourigny says Andrew Agozzino will be in the lineup in his place.
Additionally, Michael Carcone will make his season debut on Monday, per Tourigny.
Carcone was a healthy scratch in the team first two games of the season.
The 5-foot-9 winger had seven goals and 19 points in 53 games last season.
New Jersey Devils
Forward Zack MacEwan will miss a “considerable amount of time” with an undisclosed injury, head coach Sheldon Keefe told reporters on Monday.
MacEwan was injured during the Devil’s 5-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday and exited early with the injury.
The 6-foot-4 forward was acquired from the Ottawa Senators on Oct. 3 in exchange for forward Kurtis MacDermid.
MacEwan had two goals and three points in 21 games with the Senators last season.
Buffalo Sabres
Forward Zach Benson skated on his own on Sunday and is expected to join the team’s full practice on Tuesday, according to head coach Lindy Ruff.
Benson hasn’t played this season after taking a puck to the face during practice on Oct. 8 and had to briefly be hospitalized.
The 20-year-old winger recorded 10 goals and 28 points in 75 games last season.
Additionally, forward Josh Norris is having a second opinion on his mid-body injury and the team will have a better understanding of his recovery time frame after that, according to Ruff.
Norris was injured during the team’s season opening loss to the New York Rangers on Oct. 9 and is expected to miss significant time.
The 6-foot-2 centre was acquired, along with defenceman Jacob Bernard-Docker, from the Ottawa Senators before last year’s trade deadline in exchange for forward Dylan Cozens, defenceman Dennis Gilbert and a draft pick.
He recorded 21 goals and 35 points in 56 games last season but has only appeared in four games with the Sabres since the trade due to injury.
