Connor Ingram will get the start Tuesday evening for the Edmonton Oilers in their do-or-die Game 5, head coach Kris Knoblauch told reporters.
TSN’s Ryan Rishaug reported that Ingram was in the starter’s net at their gameday skate earlier in the day.

Ingram starts.
Knoblauch says Ingram has been their guy down the stretch and with the season on the line they wanted to go with their guy.
Ingram played the first three games of Edmonton’s first-round series but Knoblauch made a change in net after Ingram allowed a combined 11 goals in consecutive defeats in Games 2 and 3.
Tristan Jarry started Game 4, and made 34 of 38 saves in a 4-3 overtime loss that put Edmonton into a 3-1 series hole. Ingram had allowed 14 goals on 93 shots in the first three games of the series before the switch.
Knoblauch told reporters after Tuesday’s gameday skate that Ingram has been their guy down the stretch of 2025-26 and they wanted to go with their No. 1 option with the season on the line.
The 29-year-old was 16-10-3 in 30 games with an .899 save percentage and a 2.60 goals-against average during the regular season. Jarry, 30, played in 19 games with Edmonton after coming over in a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins and had a 9-6-2 record with a .857 save percentage and a 3.86 GAA.
If necessary, Game 6 in the series will go Thursday in Anaheim.
