Montreal Canadiens star Juraj Slafkovsky headlines the 25-player roster that will represent Slovakia at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan.

Slafkovsky is one of seven NHL players on the team that also includes forwards Dalibor Dvorsky (St. Louis), Martin Pospisil (Calgary) and Pavol Regenda (San Jose) as well as defencemen Erik Cernak (Tampa Bay), Martin Fehervary (Washington) and Simon Nemec (New Jersey).

Slovakia won bronze at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing (without NHL players) as Slafkovsky led the tournament in scoring with seven goals in seven games, winning Most Valuable Player.

Slafkovsky, the first-overall pick by Montreal in 2022, has 15 goals and 33 points in 43 games this season.

The team returns 10 players from the 2022 squad, including forwards Slafkovsky, Regenda, Peter Cehlarik, Libor Hudacek, Milos Kelemen, Marek Hrivik, defencemen Nemec, Martin Marincin, Peter Ceresnak, and Martin Gernat.

Slovakia is in Group B alongside Finland, Sweden and host Italy.

The men’s hockey tournament runs from Feb. 11 to 22.
