The Vancouver Goldeneyes have traded forward Abby Boreen and the 17th pick in Thursday’s 2026 draft to PWHL Las Vegas in exchange for the 13th and 49th selections, it was announced Wednesday.

Boreen, 26, played 30 games last season for the expansion Vancouver Goldeneyes, tallying four goals and five assists. She also scored the overtime winner in the Goldeneyes’ home opener in November.
She spent the season before with the Montreal Victoire and played the 2024 campaign with the Minnesota Frost, winning the inaugural Walter Cup in 2024. Boreen had a career-best six goals and 14 points in 2024-25.
