Canadian left winger Liam Millar came off after suffering a hamstring injury late in Hull City’s 1-1 draw against Carlton Saturday in the English Championship.
Millar came into the game in the 69th minute and came out 10 minutes later. TSN’s Matthew Scianitti reports that Miller playing in the mid-November friendlies against Ecuador and Venezuela is a “real doubt.”

Add this to the Alistair Johnston (hamstring) and Moïse Bombito news (tibia) and injuries are becoming a real concern for #CanMNT. “Liam [Millar] has a hamstring injury. He will have a scan on Monday and then we will see the damage,” Hull City head manager Sergej Jakirovic told reporters after Saturday’s match, as reported by The Hull Story on X.
“Liam [Millar] has a hamstring injury. He will have a scan on Monday and then we will see the damage. Belloumi is the same. After an ACL it is the most dangerous injury.”

The Millar news is one of several injuries for players of the Canadian Senior Men’s National Team, with Alistair Johnston (hamstring) and Moise Bombito (tibia) already sidelined.
The 26-year-old Toronto native has made 37 appearances for Canada’s Senior Men’s Team including 17 starts, tallying one goal and three assists.
Canada’s men’s team will play Ecuador on Nov. 13 at BMO Field in Toronto and then play Venezuela in Florida on Nov. 18 as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
