Tempo’s Fagbenle (concussion protocol) available to play Friday vs. Dream

Toronto Tempo centre Temi Fagbenle is available to play in Friday’s game against the Atlanta Dream, reports TSN’s Chelsea Leite.

Fagbenle was in concussion protocol and had not played since June 27 against the Phoenix Mercury, missing the Tempo’s last five games.

The 33-year-old is averaging 6.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in eight games so far this season.

Meanwhile, Leite reports forward Teonni Key popped up on the injury report with an illness but is available Friday night.

Kiki Rice (ankle) and Brittney Sykes (foot) remain out for Toronto.

The Tempo enter play Friday’s game against first-place Atlanta fifth in the Eastern Conference at 10-14.
