Leon Draisaitl enters the 2025-leon26 season as the betting favourite on FanDuel to win the award, priced at +310 to win it for the second consecutive season.
The 29-year-old led the NHL with 52 goals last season, giving him the first Rocket Richard award of his career. Since 2020, Draisaitl is second in the NHL with 231 goals in 368 games.
Not too far behind the German in odds is Toronto Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews at +340.
After lighting the world on fire in 2023-24 with 69 goals, Matthews was kept in check last season, scoring just 33 in 67 games.
The American is the lone player in the league who has outpaced Draisaitl over the last several seasons, with 243 goals in 347 games since the start of the 2020 season.
Trialling the duo at the top of the market is Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov as the only other player shorter than 12-1 at +550.
