The Toronto Argonauts officially announced their coaching staff on Wednesday, with veterans Rich Stubler and Kit Lathrop and newcomers Kelly Jeffrey and Bradley Daye joining head coach Scott Milanovich on the sidelines this season.

"I'm extremely excited about the coaching staff that we have assembled," said Milanovich in a statement. "We have several coaches with significant CFL experience as well as some younger coaches that will bring fresh ideas and energy to our staff. I am confident that this staff will do a great job leading our football team in 2016."

Stubler, who returned for his third stint with the Argonauts in December as Defensive Coordinator, enters his 29th CFL season as a coach. The five-time Grey Cup champion spent the last two seasons with the Calgary Stampeders. Lathrop will serve as Defensive Line Coach, a role he had with BC, Edmonton and Ottawa. The Argos job reunites him with Stubler, who he previously worked with in BC and Calgary.

Jeffrey joined the Argonauts in February as Special Teams Coordinator after 20 years of coaching in the NCAA and CIS. He spent the last seven seasons as the head coach at Mount Allison where he guided the Mounties to back-to-back AUS titles. Daye will work with Jeffrey as Assistant Special Teams Coach. Daye began his coaching career at Mount Allison University, where he served as Defensive Backs and Assistant Special Teams Coach under Jeffrey for the last three seasons.

The team also announced that D.J. Wingate will serve as the Linebackers Coach after working as the Assistant Defensive Backs Coach last season.

Returning for the 2016 season are Offensive Coordinator Marcus Brady, Offensive Line Coach Mike Preston, Running Backs Coach Anthony Ierullo, and Defensive Backs Coach Jordan Younger.

The Argonauts will announce their receivers coach at a later date.
