TORONTO - The 2014 season is quickly becoming one to forget for Andre Durie.

The Toronto Argonauts placed the veteran slotback on the six-game injured list Friday, effectively ending his season. Durie, 33, broke his right clavicle for a second time after diving for a pass at practice this week.

Durie first broke the bone on July 5 in Toronto's 48-15 home win over Saskatchewan.

That forced him to miss seven games before returning for the Argos' 40-33 road loss to Calgary on Sept. 13.

Durie has 19 catches for 214 yards and a TD this season.

Rookie Robert Gill will replace Durie in the Argos' starting lineup Saturday afternoon when they host the Edmonton Eskimos.

In other news, LB Shane Horton was released on Friday after requesting the move earlier this week. The team gave him time to think before making the move official.
