The Toronto Argonauts lost All-Star kicker/punter Swayze Waters to the NFL on the same day they signed defensive back/linebacker Keon Raymond from the Calgary Stampeders.

Waters signed with the Carolina Panthers to compete after four seasons in Double Blue. Waters battled injuries last year, hitting just four of seven field goals in five games, but was proven to be one of the best kickers in the league. Waters was 47-52 on field goals in his All-Star 2014 campaign and 101-127 throughout his four years with the Argos. The 28-year-old was also one of the better punters in the league, averaging 48.1 yards per punt last year and 46.9 yards per punt for his CFL career. For what it's worth, the Panthers listed Waters as a punter in their official release.

Raymond meanwhile, arrives in Toronto after eight seasons with the Stampeders. The 33-year-old had 41 tackles, four interceptions, and two sacks in 18 games last year. For his career, the two-time West Division All-Star has 337 tackles, 24 interceptions, and 10 sacks.
